SKUTUSTADAGIGAR _ 0330

The Skutustadagigar are pseudocraters at the southern shore of Lake Myvatn. The craters were formed by steam explosions, when boiling lava flowed over the wetlands. The wetlands are preserved and are popular for birdwatching.
